WHY FERRARI AND BIALETTI ?
Our idea to make a moka pot inspired from a ferrari came for the love for the the two things cars and coffee.A collaborations between these Italian icons would appel to every car lover to have in their cup holders
Our Inspiration
As a we were designing Bialetti moka pot we decided to make it portable keeping its octagonal shape in mind .Also while looking around for inspirations in Ferrari we searched for cars that looked comparatively flat and blends with our design . So we decided to select Ferrari 308gtb as our inspiration for design.

Design Elements
The Design Elements we tried to fuse in our design were its iconic tyer grills and the air vents besides its door. The air vent shaped cavity in our design also gives a better grip .
Its mechanism is based on the concept of bottoms up beer where the liquid is pushed in the upwards direction and is sealed with magnets . Once you turn on the switch from the bottom the water moves upwards through the filter coffee in the upper cup . The magnets will seal the bottom of the upper cup when the user detaches the upper cup for drinking . One can also attach the coffee grinder to the bottom of the moka pot.
